Introduction

I've been putting up a list of the top AI tools for teachers to utilize in the classroom for a time now, and I'm sharing it with you today. The educational landscape is changing quickly due to artificial intelligence's transformational potential. Our most recent initiative, an annual survey of the top Edtech teaching aids, has evolved to feature the top AI applications designed specifically to enhance classroom instruction. But before we announce the winners, let's look at the subtleties of the selection procedure.

Between September 21 and October 21, 2023, 94 instructors from all across the world gladly filled out our survey. Like you, they considered a plethora of options before selecting their top 121 AI apps from a fiercely competitive pool of submissions. In this study, we looked closely at sixteen distinct facets of education, ranging from lesson planning to video creation. All the tools were neatly arranged based on their primary role, with the exception of the multipurpose chatbots, which fought a furious war across multiple categories.
And now, let's cautiously go into the results.

- ChatGPT
As the apparent victor in the chatbot space, ChatGPT received an overwhelming 80% of the votes. ChatGPT, renowned for its capacity to spark engaging conversations, has established itself as the instructor's virtual collaborator.



- Gamma

Let us now discuss presentation tools. Gamma has overwhelmingly won the support of educators, receiving over 27% of the vote. It has emerged as the industry leader in classroom presentations because of its extensive features and user-friendly design. Tome and Magicslides have also received a respectable percentage of the vote.



- EduGPT

Surprisingly, Magic School AI faced strong competition in the Classroom Efficiency tools category before emerging victorious with 29% of the vote. EduGPT stunned everyone with its 13% share, proving how popular it is becoming among teachers searching for easy-to-use classroom management solutions.



- CourseAI

In the Course Creation category, CourseAI triumphed with an incredible 42% of the votes cast. This state-of-the-art platform has the power to fundamentally alter the process of creating educational content, including the role that instructional designers play.


- Duolingo Max

In the category of language learning, Duolingo Max is the clear victor with 36% of the vote. Teachers and students alike are drawn to its gamified approach to language learning, which offers a fresh take on traditional language instruction.


- ChatGPT

ChatGPT is once again in the lead in content development with an incredible 71% of the votes. Its unparalleled ability to create engaging and significant material consistently raises the standard in the sector.



- Canva

Canva's AI-powered feature is the obvious victor in the image generating category, taking home a resounding 33% of the votes. Because of its huge template library and user-friendly design, it is an invaluable resource for instructors searching for visually interesting products.

One thing is made very evident by the field of AI applications for education: learning will undoubtedly be deeply entwined with artificial intelligence in the future.
